"Why You need to Fail" by Derek Sivers was an inspiring piece to listen to. He talks about why people need to fail in order to succeed. One thing he said that stuck with me was "if you're not failing, you're not learning". I completely agree. He mentioned that learning something effectively comes from making mistakes and learning from their mistakes. Failure is necessary in order to develop your mind.

The late Apple and Pixar CEO Steve Jobs gave an inspiring speech at the Stanford commencement in 2005. He told three different stories about his life that were very influential in the path that he would take. The one that struck me the most was his story about his time in college. |
